An example?

He formed you and made you who you are now not because he was feeling bored but because he wants to make you an example for holy living.

Friends, it is always God's desire for you to be a role model for others and this is why you must build your life in the pattern or way of the Bible.

1 Timothy 4:12

[12]Let no man  despise thy youth; but be thou an example of believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

This is the expectation God have on you, let your life be an example for others to follow. They may not understand the  Bible they read  but the example from your life that they see will present the scripture more clearer to them.

"but be thou an example of believers..."

Being an example is not the only problem but what sort of example are you suppose to be?

An example of believers; "in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

"in word..."

Your words must be edifying Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

"in conversation..."

Be an example  even when you converse with people, let not your conversation be that of immorality but the heavenly.

...in charity...

You teach other youths the true meaning of charity (love). You must be an example to show what love  truly is, not the kind they profess everyday.

... in spirit, in faith, in purity...

You are to be an example to them in spirit, in your faith in God and in living a pure life, a life of purity.

Dear, you are called to be an example but the big question is; what kind of example have you been all these while?

Have your life been leading others to Christ or even leading them away? Please think on this.
