What is friendship to you?

Friendship is a blessing from God to everyone. God initiated it and was the first to practice it.

Genesis 2:18
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone...
Genesis 3:8
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day...

What is friendship to you?

Well, everyone may come up with one or two definitions of friendship but the truth is that  Friendship  is a ship 🚢 that contain two or more different people together to make them share their experiences, challenges and joy 😂 together. Just like we saw in the scripture above. It is meant to help in time ⌚ of difficulties. What is friendship to you?

1 Samuel 19:2,4
But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David: and Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the morning, and abide in a secret place, and hide thyself:
[4]And Jonathan spake good of David unto Saul his father, and said unto him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David; because he hath not sinned against thee, and because his works have been to thee-ward very good:

The truth is this, friends are suppose to fight for the interest of each other just like Jonathan. Friends are suppose to look for one another's interest, most especially when you are having a friend who is the opposite sex. Don't take it for granted, don't abuse it, don't push your partner into sinning against God all because he /she loves 😍 you and don't want to lose you. Remember, true friends will lead their partner to God and not away from Him.

How to get and keep real and good friends?

This has been the question 🙋 of many young people out there. I have enjoyed friendship and I will be proud to say that friends means a lot to me. But one good thing you should do to keep your friend(s) is never try to keep them rather, keep them in God's hand ✋ 👐.

Mark 8:35
For whosoever will save his life[friendship] shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life[friendship] for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save[his friendship] it.

This verse may sound 🔊 off 📴 but it is God's wisdom to me. When you focus on serving God, God focus on bringing friends that will help you serve him well. Looking at the image ;if the both focuses on serving
God, he Draws the two together.

NOTE 📝 :THIS APPLY TO RELATIONSHIP BEFORE Marriage AND EVEN IN MARRIAGE, just focus on God.

From the image of the triangle (G-God, M-Male and F-female) you will discover that the more the parties get closer to God the more they get closer to themselves and the good news 📰 is they remain focus on God and yet friends.

If all youth can understand that friendship is not all about selfish desire but about getting closer to God, we will make head way in life. Friend, please focus on God.

For those who may be having someone in mind for marriage that's not bad but please focus on God, not on your friend and God will work it all out for your good.
