Who is a Friend?

A person  who you like and enjoy being with: a person who helps or supports someone or something (such as a cause or charity). From Miriam Webster Dictionary.

Without friends around, it's almost Impossible to succeed with life expectancies, must expecially when you're in need. Friends lightens and relief you of tension that comes your ways.

When can I have a friend?

You can have a friend  the moment you are ready to become a friend to someone. Remember, being a good friend to others require your self sacrifice and tolerance.

How can I identify my friend?

Your friend is that person who knows your secret failures, who knows your secret success, who knows your secrete code, that person you find it easy to tell your plans, that person that hurt you but you just find it easy to forgive, most times you don't want to offend that person, the very person you would hear that is sick and you wish you are the one. By now you should have been able to identify one person who carries virtually all these characteristics. That's your friend!.

Forms of friendship

Mainly, friendship comes in three ways :.
1. A boy and a boy.
2. A girl and a girl
3. A boy and a girl.
As a lady, your friend can be a girl and as a boy, your friend can be a girl.

Why do I need a friend?

Aids is all you need to survive in life and with good friends around you, you've gotten all the aid you need. Friends lightens your Budden and strengthen you when you're weak. With good friends around you, being nice is very much easy but when you have friend that gives you evil ideas, you can't succeed.

"But he ignored the advice of the older men and went instead to the young men who had grown up with him and who were now his advisers.
“What do you advise me to do?” he asked. “What shall I say to the people who are asking me to make their burdens lighter?”
1 Kings 12:8-9

This young king in the Bible got friends but not ideal ones so they directed him the wrong way.
You need a friend that can teach you the right way to follow.
You need a friend to guide you through.
You need a friend who can encourage you when you're in distress
With friends you learn new things and become social.
Sometimes you copy your friends
Character involuntarily.

What kind of friend to follow?

First thing you must know about friends you follow is that, the tendency of possessing their character is very high. So when you select friends, pick the ones you're okay with their character. Go for those with good reputation, and high moral and spiritual standards

What kind of friend not to follow?.

...someone who stirs up trouble among friends. Proverbs 6:19.
Friends that are not available anytime need help.
Friends that are not understanding.
Friends that are full of themselves.
Friends that foolish in thought.
Friends that never see possibilities.
Friends that always want what you will give them, but not what they can give you.
Friends who can't keep your secrets.
Friends who hide the truth from you. Friends who tell lies.
Friends who drinks, smoke and humanize.
Friends are highly disobedient to their parent.
Friend who are lazy.
Friends who are egotistical narcissistic, self-absorbed, self-centered,
Friends who are bullies.
Friends that have no fear of God.

All the above mentioned don't deserve to be your friend, they are best destiny destroyers. They don't deserve you. Stay far away from such people.

How  to be a good friend?

All these while we've been talking about how others can fit in but in this section, we'll talk about how you can fit in.

Everyone on earth desire a good friend and everyone deserve a good friend. If you are a good friend to someone, then, the prayer of that  person has come true.

You have to learn how to solve the problem of others too.

Your friendship must be  that which is available anytime need rises.
You should be a friend;
that is  understanding.
that is  full of others and not yourself.
that is not foolish in thought.
that always  see possibilities.
that always want what you can give to  others, not what they can give to  you.
who can keep other's secrets.
who doesn't hide the truth.

Friend who don't drink, smoke or humanize.
Friend who is not disobedient to  parent.
Friend who is not lazy.
Friend who is not egotistical.
Friends who is not a bully
that have the fear of God.
