THE UNANSWERED QUESTION

Today, in this sex-crazed world, the question "Can we really expect youths to avoid pre-marital sex?” still remain unanswered.

The answer to the question will depend on what you believe to be true about sex, and where those ideas of yours are coming from.

In a world where sex before marriage is no longer a strange thing and in fact, expected, anything else is viewed as ancient and archaic thinking.  

This resemble what Satan asked Eve “Did God really say….”  our today tradition ask, in the same familiar voice that confronted Eve in the garden of Eden. The response today is “Surely He did not mean it and this, in a way, is begging to rise and overshadow truth of the Bible. But it's anything really wrong with that?

Although the Bible speaks with great clarity about the dangers of sex outside marriage, some still argue that if they’re in a relationship with the intention of marrying, and as some people call it "loving relationship,” it's no big deal to have sex. And guess what, many have buy into this satanic idea. But a few will choose to wait.

No matter what we see in  Hollywood movies, the truth is that, not everyone is saying “yes” to sex outside marriage. But how many youths are choosing to wait until marriage?

Although,  today some may think that there is nothing really wrong, after all, it's common all over various countries of the world.

Been a youth in a world saturated with sex and technology demands more attention than ever. Whether or not we decide to talk openly and honestly about sex or not, our society or even our e-society(social media) certainly will. They've been talking, already, straight to hearts and minds, for a very long time now. And as we know, it has a lot to say about sex.  

But thank God because there is a good news, and the good news is you’re not alone. Do you believe that God has something to say about sex? He created it. And it seems that wisdom will come from the One who initiated it.

Some people  believe that the Bible is only a book full of rules meant to restrict our fun as youths. But God’s Word is what gives safe boundaries to live healthily. Jesus Christ came so that we can live life in abundant. And the only way to truly live that out is by living according to His directive.

He came to set you free, not to enslave you to a standards you can never live up to. The world's lie says that you are most free when you’re just doing  things your own way, living how you want. But the truth is that, living with such freedom makes you a real slave to sin, and you can never, totally,  be free from those chains of temptation and defeat outside of God's power and strength. 

God's Word is not based on seasons, It doesn’t shift with the latest hot topics.  It is living and active, relevant for our world, even in this technology driven, sex-saturated world.  

God never changes. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.  

Sex is a gift from God. And this gift come with a great caution and the caution is that this gift can and should only be enjoyed within the boundaries of marriage, that's  the way  God designed it.

Don't you  know that God’s Spirit is moving in this present generation and He is raising up youths who will be warriors, to be strong leaders in our world, who understand the times, but base their relevancy on the word of God that stands forever?

Our prayer for you is that God will continue to fill you with courage to make hard choices based on the of truth  of His word. May God guard your ways, leading you on path of what is right, walking beside you every day, and covering your steps from behind. May God draw your heart to want to know Him more, and give you a desire for godliness over the temptations the enemy will hurl your way. We also pray that in the times when you may stumble, you will quickly find your way back to God, knowing that His forgiveness is real and His love is forever.

Verses of Truth for you as a
youth:

You are already an overcomer because Christ lives in you
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

Don't always rely on your own knowledge because
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” Prov. 14:12

You have no reason to commit sin as youth because
“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Cor. 10:13

Stay away from premarital sex
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality;” 1 Thess. 4:3

As a child of God, you are advice to
“Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” 1 Cor. 6:18

And our your mind in the things I'd God and
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Keeping these verses in mind will help remain strong in the things of God.
